CommerceML: Why Standard Exchange Is Both a Lifesaver and a Trap

Standard exchange via CommerceML 2.0 on typical "Trade Management" or "Comprehensive Automation" can be set up in a day or two. Products, prices, stock, orders—all via XML files on a schedule. Custom REST is justified when:
