Configuring 1C Trade Management (UT 11) and 1C-Bitrix Exchange

UT 11 is the most widely used configuration for online stores. It supports CommerceML 2.08 and has a built-in website exchange mechanism. Setup takes 1–2 days if you know where to find the UT 11-specific parameters.

Where the Exchange Is Configured in UT 11

Sales → Service → Website Exchange (Bitrix) → Online Store Sites

If the menu item is not visible — enable the feature:

Administration → Functional Options → Sales → Retail Sales → Online Store

Creating an Exchange Profile

In the "Sites" section, create a new site:

  • Publication address: https://myshop.ru/bitrix/admin/1c_exchange.php
  • Site user: login of a 1C-Bitrix user with exchange rights
  • Password: that user's password
  • Exchange type: Data Exchange (catalog + orders)

Configuring Exported Data

"Settings" tab:

  • Export products with zero stock: depends on strategy (recommended: enable — to show "available on order")
  • Export characteristics as trade offers: enable if products have variants (color, size)
  • Price types for export: select "Retail" or the required type
  • Warehouses for stock: select the relevant warehouses

UT 11 Specifics: Price Groups

In UT 11, customers can be assigned to price groups with individual pricing. During exchange configuration, multiple price types can be exported in offers.xml — 1C-Bitrix will match them against price types on the website.

In 1C-Bitrix: Catalog → Price Types — create the corresponding types and configure the mapping in the exchange settings.

Order Exchange in UT 11

In UT 11, orders from the website are created as "Customer Order" documents (not "Buyer's Order" as in UT 10). The status model is also different. Clarify the list of statuses and their programmatic names with a 1C specialist before configuring the mapping in 1C-Bitrix.

First Exchange Run

Website Exchange → [profile] → Run Exchange Now

For the first run, it is recommended to:

  1. First perform only the catalog export (without orders) — verify that the structure is correct
  2. Check the created categories and products in 1C-Bitrix
  3. Debug the characteristics mapping (trade offers)
  4. Once correctness is confirmed — enable order exchange

Exchange Schedule

Administration → Scheduled Jobs → Website Exchange

Recommended schedule for UT 11:

  • Full export: once at night (02:00–04:00)
  • Offers only (prices and stock): every 30–60 minutes

Configuration Timelines

Basic catalog and order exchange — 1–2 days. With multiple price type configuration and trade offer debugging — 2–4 days.
