Bitrix24 Mobile App Setup

The Bitrix24 mobile app is available out of the box on all pricing plans, but "out of the box" does not mean "ready to use". After installation you need to configure notifications, email sync, section access permissions, and integration with corporate services. Without this, employees get incomplete CRM access, miss tasks, and miss calls.

Initial portal configuration

The mobile app works with cloud or on-premise Bitrix24. For an on-premise installation, a valid SSL certificate is required (self-signed certificates are not accepted) and port 443 must be open. The portal address is entered in the app as https://your-domain.com.

In the admin panel under Settings → Mobile Application:

  • Enable mobile app access
  • Configure two-factor authentication (recommended for CRM data)
  • Select sections available on mobile: CRM, Tasks, Chat, Drive, Calendar

Push notifications

Push notifications work via Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) and Apple Push Notification Service (iOS). For on-premise Bitrix24, configure at: Settings → Product Settings → Push and Pull.

Required steps:

  1. Create a project in Firebase Console, obtain the Server Key
  2. For iOS — an APNs certificate (Apple Developer Account)
  3. Enter the keys into the pull module settings

Without push configured, employees will not receive notifications about deal updates, new tasks, and incoming calls.

CRM in the mobile app

By default, mobile access includes: leads, deals, contacts, companies, and calls. Field visibility is configured via CRM → Settings → Fields with separate profiles for the mobile view.

To automatically open the caller's card on an incoming call, enable Call Identification in the telephony settings. The app shows the CRM contact card on an incoming mobile call if the number is found in b_crm_contact_detail.

Email and calendar sync setup

Integration with Exchange/Office 365 — via the calendar module and the Exchange Web Services connector. For Google Workspace — OAuth2. After sync, meetings from the corporate calendar appear in the Bitrix24 mobile app.

Access permissions

In Settings → Company Structure → Roles, the relevant mobile restrictions are: limit CRM data export, prohibit record deletion, restrict access to the Drive section to corporate storage only (not personal).

What is included in the setup

  • Portal configuration for mobile access (SSL, ports, address)
  • Push notification setup via Firebase and APNs
  • CRM field display profiles for the mobile interface
  • Corporate email and calendar synchronization
  • Access permissions and restrictions for the mobile app
