Bitrix24 BI Connector Setup
Manager requests report: "Show me conversion by managers for quarter broken down by lead sources accounting for ad spend." Standard B24 analytics doesn't have this report. Can export data to Excel, manually consolidate, build pivot — but in a week they'll ask for update. BI connector solves it: data from B24 automatically flows to Google Looker Studio or Power BI, where any reports built, update on schedule, accessible by link.
What is BI Connector
BI Connector — built-in Bitrix24 feature (Professional+ tiers) providing link for BI system to connect to portal data. B24 acts as data source, BI system — visualization tool.
Supported BI platforms:
- Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) — free, works in browser, suits most tasks
- Microsoft Power BI — enterprise tool, integration via Power BI Desktop
- Yandex DataLens — alternative for Russian market
BI connector doesn't export raw database data. It provides pre-prepared datasets — data sets optimized for analytics.
Available Datasets
BI connector provides data on main B24 modules:

Google Looker Studio Connection
Setup order:
- In B24: CRM → Analytics → BI Constructor → BI Connector. Create access key. System generates connector URL.
- In Google Looker Studio: Create → Data Source → Partner Connectors → Bitrix24. Paste key.
- Select dataset (e.g., "Deals"). Looker Studio loads field schema.
- Create report based on data source. Add charts, tables, filters.
Access key has expiration. When expired — reports stop updating. Generate new key and update connection in Looker Studio.
Power BI Connection
For Power BI use Power BI Desktop:
- In B24 get BI connector key (same as Looker Studio).
- In Power BI Desktop: Get Data → OData or via specialized Bitrix24 connector.
- Specify connector URL and authorization key.
- Load needed tables, configure relationships between them.
- Build report, publish to Power BI Service for browser access.
Power BI lets combine B24 data with other sources: 1C, Google Analytics, competitor CRM — in one dashboard.
Update Schedule
BI connector data updates not in real-time. Update interval depends on tier and settings:
- Google Looker Studio — update on opening report or on schedule (every 12/6/1 hour depending on settings).
- Power BI Service — scheduled update up to 8 times daily (Pro) or 48 times (Premium).
For operational dashboards (today's data) update interval must be minimized. For strategic reports (monthly analysis) daily update sufficient.
