Mailing to Client Database Setup in Bitrix24

A marketer exports contacts from CRM to Excel, loads into Mailchimp, sends mailing, then manually matches opens and clicks with clients in B24. Double work, data desynchronization, and those who unsubscribed in Mailchimp remain subscribed in CRM. B24 has a built-in CRM Marketing module—mailings are sent directly from CRM, no export-import.

CRM Marketing Module

Mailings are created in CRM → Marketing → Mailings. Available channels:

  • Email mailings — mass emails by CRM segments
  • SMS mailings — through connected SMS provider
  • Messengers — with connected open channels

For email mailings, B24 uses built-in SMTP or external service (configured in mail settings). For mass mailings, dedicated SMTP is recommended (SendPulse, Unisender, Amazon SES)—built-in server may not handle volume and land in spam.

Creating a Mailing

Process:

  1. Select segment. Who to send to: all contacts, clients with closed deals, leads from last month, custom segment.
  2. Create email. Visual editor with drag-and-drop blocks: text, image, button, divider. Ready templates available.
  3. Field substitution. {{Name}}, {{Company}}, custom fields—personalization increases open rate.
  4. Sender setup. Name, email, reply-to address.
  5. Send. Now or by schedule.

Email Template Constructor

B24 provides visual email constructor. Features:

  • Block structure: header, text, image, CTA button
  • Responsive layout—email displays correctly on mobile
  • Save templates for reuse
  • HTML editor for fine tuning

For complex templates with unique design, upload ready HTML—B24 accepts it as template.

Delivery Tracking

After sending, statistics are available in mailing section:

  • Delivered — email accepted by recipient's mail server
  • Opened — recipient opened email (tracked via pixel)
  • Clicked — recipient clicked link in email
  • Unsubscribed — recipient clicked unsubscribe link
  • Delivery Error — address doesn't exist, mailbox full, landed in spam

Data is linked to CRM contacts—you can see who opened the email and create task for manager to call.

Unsubscribe Link

Every email must contain unsubscribe link—legal requirement and mail provider requirement. B24 adds it automatically. When clicked, contact is marked as "Unsubscribed" in CRM—subsequent mailings don't go to them.
