Broadcasting Setup in Bitrix24
The CEO wants to address 500 employees simultaneously. Gathering everyone in one room is impossible—offices in three cities, part of the team remote. Zoom for 500 people costs money, and the link must be distributed separately. In B24, you can launch a broadcast directly from the portal—employees watch in the browser, no additional software installation.
Internal Broadcasts
Bitrix24 supports broadcasts for portal employees. Format: one or more hosts broadcast, others watch. Viewers can write in chat but don't turn on camera and microphone.
Broadcast is created in Chat and Calls → Video Conferences. Specify type "Broadcast", select hosts, send link or publish in Feed. Employees connect via link from browser.
Viewer limits depend on plan—Professional and Enterprise plans have softer restrictions. For audiences over 100 people, external streaming is recommended.
YouTube Live Broadcast
For large audiences (hundreds and thousands of viewers), B24 integrates with YouTube Live:
- Create a broadcast on YouTube (or configure automatic creation).
- Get RTMP stream key.
- Video source (OBS, built-in camera, B24 video conference) sends stream to YouTube via RTMP.
- YouTube broadcast link is published in B24 Feed or distributed via CRM marketing.
YouTube handles scaling—viewer count is unlimited. Recording automatically saves to the channel.
RTMP Streaming
If you need broadcasting not to YouTube but to your own platform or another service—use an arbitrary RTMP server. OBS Studio or similar software captures the host's screen and camera, sends stream via RTMP address.
B24 acts as organizer: creates event, sends link, collects feedback after broadcast.
