Configuration of Corporate Training in Bitrix24

A new manager starts. They're given a folder with a dozen PDFs, told "study" and sent to the line in a week. A month later it turns out they don't know half the product line and format deals incorrectly. The manager doesn't know if the employee read anything. The B24 training module turns chaotic onboarding into a managed process: courses, lessons, tests, certificates, and progress tracking.

What B24 Offers for Training

B24 provides internal training tools through workgroups and knowledge bases. A full LMS (Learning Management System) is implemented through:

  • Workgroup — course container: participants, materials, tasks
  • Knowledge Base — structured content: lessons, articles, videos
  • Tasks — lesson assignments with deadline control
  • Business Processes — automation: course assignments, notifications, certificates

Course Structure

A course is built as a workgroup with content hierarchy:

  • Course (workgroup) — name, description, participants
    • Module 1 (knowledge base category)
      • Lesson 1.1 — article with text and video
      • Lesson 1.2 — article with step-by-step instructions
      • Test 1 — task with question checklist
    • Module 2
      • Lesson 2.1
      • Test 2
    • Final Test

Each lesson is a knowledge base article with formatted text, screenshots, embedded videos (YouTube, uploaded files), and links to external resources.

Tests and Knowledge Verification

Testing is implemented several ways:

  • Task with Checklist — questions as checklist items. Employee marks answers, manager reviews.
  • CRM Form — web form with questions (multiple choice, text answer). Results are saved and available for analysis.
  • External Service — Google Forms or Typeform, link in lesson. Results imported manually or through integration.

For automatic checking with scores, use a CRM form: each answer option has a weight, final score calculated by handler.

Certificates

Upon course completion, an employee receives a certificate — automatically generated document (PDF). Generation is configured through business process:

  1. All course tasks completed, tests passed with score above threshold.
  2. Business process generates PDF from template (employee name, course name, date, score).
  3. Certificate is attached to employee profile and sent via notification.

Progress Tracking

Manager sees progress for each employee:

  • Which lessons are viewed (marked in task)
  • Which tests completed and with what score
  • Time spent on training
  • Who missed deadlines

Training report is compiled from workgroup tasks: filter by status, deadline, responsible person.
